opinion on titus duncan team?

please let me know what do u think of titus duncan and its team are they good surgeon

I met Dr. Duncan in 2003, he was one of the surgeons on my list for consideration. His office is really nice and he does have a really good program. My only issue at the time was they required a weight loss of nearly 100 pounds in my case. Because I have severe Lymphedema and lots of fluid retention, I just didn't see that it could be done. I did try, and lost 50 pounds only to gain it back in my legs. Had I had to have surgery in Atlanta, I would have likely gone to Dr. Duncan or Dr. Burrowes. They are both high on my list simply because of their experience with higher risk patients a lone, and their outstanding stats. There are many really good surgeons in Atlanta, and had I had the chance to meet them all I probably would have. LOL I just feel you really have to have a connection and because I live in Augusta I wanted someone local. Thankfully I found someone! That's just my experience. Amy

9 days out from having Dr Hobson who is 1 of the 3 in Duncans group. The staff was great. Most people think they are not caring. They are not a feely touch group they want you to know what you are getting ready to do. Hard facts. Some people don't like that but it comes down to your date they are all there for you. I love them.

Hi! Dr. Hobson did my surgery 8/31/05 and I have lost a total of 110 and maintaining around 130 (give or take a lb). I am very happy with choosing their practice. But just remeber, with any surgery there is a risk. Dr. Duncans practice is one the top in the USA. Since they have so many patients, t sometimes you could fall between the cracks. Just make sure you keep a copy of everything and follow up. If the surgery is important to you, dont sit around and wait for someone to call you Make it happen! Good luck and keep us informed!! I used Dr. Duncan, and I have never felt like I have fallen between the cracks, as a matter of fact, when I show up to the office they remember me by name on sight. Dr. Duncan has personally called me, after hours to check on me, and answer any question. Dr. Rashid, who is a resident in his office is just as nice and warm as he. Lori who is the main nurse has been with me every step of the way, remembers my wifes name and asks about my history and remembers events. I have been well cared for and would recommend them anyday of the week, tell them Miles said so!

His team is the BOMB!! I had surg with them 10-10-05 and have had a wonderful experience with them Cynde 367-212-180

My husband and I both had surgery with his team. We were very happy with the surgery and the care. My husband's surgery was 03/05 and mine was 08/06. I have lost 160 pounds. Derrick had lost around 140 but has gained some back. Just make sure you do your homework and made the best decision for you.
