11 days post-op

Feeling alittle not like my self today. Tried and slow. Is this normal?

Laura, I was really tired for some time. But I too went back to work after only 13 day's post opp. But as the weeks went on I began to feel better. It was almost a month before I did not come home and take a nap for two hours and then stay up and then take a shower and go to bed and then get ready for the next morning. My day's start at 4:30 am each day. But I was able to go back to work only being home from the hospital 4 day's.

I am in Lithia SPrings, GA and I need someone to talk to in my area. Maybe we can give support to each other. I am a 51 year old man who had the surgery on November 9, 2006. I and just tired and weak right Now but I hope that after healing a bit more that my energy level will improve as well. Laura, Very normal. I know the first month for me I was really tired all the time and I wasn't sleeping the best at night so then I was even more tired. Just take it slow and make sure you do rest and not overdo things. Remember you just really did have a major surgery. It takes time, but your energy will return. Amy
