IM ALMOST THERE!!

Well, after all the years of waiting and waiting some more, I dont have that much farther to go. All I am waiting on now is for my PCP to fax over my pylori results to my surgeon then I will be called for a consultation. I have been on somewhat of a diet since August 1st. I have been drinking protein everyday since that date also. I am so excited and happy that things are finally moving along. I dont post that much in here as I never really had anything to talk about since I was at a stand still. I was in the hospital from September 27th 2006 to October 2nd 2006 for celluitius in my right leg. I have a bad case of lymphedema in my legs. My thighs have the worst of it. It is beginning to affect my ankles now. What happened was my dog as sweet as she is scratched me on my right ankle on the top at the beginning of September of this year. I did not think anything of it at all until I started loosing fluid from the wound. I tried to do my own first aid myself but on that faithful day of 9/27, well lets just say I was in pretty bad shape. My leg looked as if I had been in the sun and had really bad burns on it. I was sick and freezing and could not stay out of my bed. I had a headache that would not go away. I got my sis to take me to the ER and I was told that I had a bacterial infection. It was only later that it was named the celluitius. I am doing alot better now but I cannot stay at my computer but for about 30 minutes each time. I have to keep my leg elevated even now. I wish you all the best with your tests and I hope you will be able to have your surgery soon as well. My health has declined to a point now that if I dont get the surgery soon I dont expect to see my next birthday. I have wanted to have the wls since 97 and I have studied and done my homework. I never had insurance of any kind in my life so it took me having to get really sick to be able to have it. All I am waiting on now is my PCP to fax over the clearence letter to my surgeon and that should not take long I hope. Then I wll be called in for the consultation...I would love to be able to have it at least before Christmas that would be great, that way I could start the year off loosing weight. Hi Lorie,
Thanks dear for your response. Yes I hope it will all go smoothly too and I know that GOD takes his time in things and everything is done in HIS time not mine but goodness I really wish sometimes that he would hurry up and let me get my life back. It is the little things I miss, like walking, getting outdoors, driving, working, and several others. I feel like sometimes that I have lost everything. I am thankful for everyone on the OH boards, without the uplifting mesgs that I get, I would be lost. Thank you so very much.
