I'm Pregnant!!!!

holy cow!! I'm pregnant!!! I have been told for 12 years that I couldn't have kids. I have taken fertility drugs after fertility drugs and have even tried invitro and nothing has worked. My doctors told me it was a lost cause so we adopted and now 9 months after surgery(which I know is a nono) I'm pregnant!!

Congratulations! How exciting! Keep us posted on how you're doing. I know it's a no-no this early on but I'm sure if you follow your Drs instructions closely you'll be fine.

hey Renee,first off I want to say congrats!!!I to am pregnant Ill be 37 weeks in 4 days,and i got preggo 11 months out of surgery,Ive done good so far,I to have been through every fertility treatment out there and me and hubby had tried for 10 yrs. I am so excited i just wanted to invite you to come to the post-op pregnancy board,there are alot of helpful women on there that can answer any questions that may arise throughout your pregnancy,my surgeon was also Titus Duncan,and they was not to happy with me being pregnant before 18 months but I was told from the beginning of my journey 12 to 18 ,and after all this baby is a blessing and a total surprize I mean after 10 yrs you would never expect to be preganat Im just so happy I am and so glad I had my surgery even if I hadnt lost 195 lbs this baby would have been worth going through it all again....Im so happy for you ,you can e-mail me anytime if you want tot talk.........hugs Amy C..

I am also pregnant! I got pregnant at 14 months post-op. We are so excited. I am 28 weeks... just starting my 3rd tri-mester. I am 34 and been married 7 years and never gotten pregnant. I was wondering myself if it were possible for me to get pregnant. I just know now that I have a little miracle named Jonathan growing inside me that reminds me every day how happy I am that I had Gastric Bypass Surgery. I truely believe without this surgery I would have never gotten pregnant! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Jennifer

Congratulations on the pregnancy. Be sure you get you vitimans and Protiens in. Check with the doctor on the level of vitamnss you can saflty take now withouth injuring the baby. Best wishes

Boy I know exactly how you feel. I still sometimes wonder if I really am pregnant after roughly 15 years of fertility drugs etc. Been the gauntlet! Congrats on your pregnancy! When are you due??? My first OB appoinment is Tuesday Kia
