STOMACH PAINS

Is there anyone who has had pains very high up in the stomach area, can you tell me what this sounds like. It's a constant pain right below the middle of my rib cage. I'm waiting on a ride to the hospital. Thanks lady c

I had severe pain right at my navel site. After the initial test (CT scan), I had a partially blocked bowel obstruction, which turned out to be scar tissue causing the blockage. I had to have emergency surgery, so take your basic toiletry items with you, just in case. Norma

could be gall baldder...... the best thing to do is get it checked out!!! Let us know what it is!

Lady C Please get it checked, after about 2 yrs I started having severe pains that were high up and around to my back. I had all the tests to check gallbladder, EGD to check my pouch all was normal. However, after not being able to keep food down for 2 wks and a couple of trips to the ER, I had to have emergency surgery. I had a massive internal hernia caused by scar tissue that the majority of my intestines were being strangled. I picture it as a spider web that our intestines usually flow freely through but the scar tissue(web) can get so bad that the intestines get strangled. My wls dr said it only happens in about 2%. Please report any pains or unusual feelings to your dr. I pray that you feel better soon. Georgina
