has this happened to anyone ?

Laura, In the several years of being on this site, listening to other patients speak at support groups and various other forums, I have heard of several other patients that this has happened to them. I have heard several patients speak with Dr Duncan about it. From what I understand and the last I heard Dr. Duncan say, which was about 2 yrs ago...there is a study being done on a procudre that hasn't been approved by the FDA, but it involves narrowing the portion of the intestine where it meets the pouch. It's supposed to be done by injection, not sure what exactly the Dr injects, but it's supposed to create scar tissue that would help narrow the opening....something to that effect. Did Dr Duncan speak with you about any "fixes"? I'd be curious to hear. Tonya
