Skinny on the broken heart....
Ok, I got called back to the cardiologist today and sure enough I have to go in next week to have a pacemaker...that is the bad news. The good news for you all is that I questioned my cardiologist about what caused my condition and if it was related to the WLS and/or the rapid weightloss. He said that he has never known anyone to damage the heart by LOSING weight...if anything it benefits it. My condition is genetic. He explained to me that the reason it has never been discovered is because I was obese (I still hate that word) and to the doctors it looked as though my heart was great because it was a "normal" beat per minute, but in reality because of my weight it was working twice as hard(DUH) so when I lost the weight my heart was working at it's regular pace which is too dang slow *lol*. Basically, one side of my heart is not working so the pacemaker will fix it and in a couple of weeks I will feel like a new woman!!!!! So there ya have it....that's the scoop. Keep me in your prayers PLEEEEEEEASE!!
Shree

Hey Shree,
Seems you are in good hands, I will be keeping you in my prayers.
Imagine the energy you will have when you get the ticker working properly...woo!
Did you ask them to slip in an EGD while you are out... and a tummy tuck...
Keep the faith, God will bless you and heal you quickly.

If there's anything I can do for you, please let me kow.

Veddy intevesting....Thanks Shree for sharing. We were all concerned. So glad to know they're gonna get you all fixed up. I know it's scary for you, even though a bazillion folks have great luck with these little miracles. I'd be scared too. It's sorta fear of the unknown I guess. Thanks especially for asking if it was related to WLS. That's a comfort to all of us.
Take care of yourself.
GIRL!!!!!!
It is so good to see your face! I have not been on much lately, and had no idea you were having problems. I miss you. I tried to get in touch at the first of the year (we were hiring) but I could not get in touch with you. Please keep in touch--I really do miss you and think of you often.
I am sorry that you are having problems. I will definately keep you in my prayers.
Love you girl,
Carol
