Co-pay

Is there a doctor that accepts payments on the co-pay? My insurance is UHC Choice PPO and I think that I am still expected to pay about $1800.00. So it is going to have to be payments. That may take me years.....

I can't tell you if there are any that will accept payments or not, but I can tell you that my surgeon would not... I had to pay $1700 to my surgeon before he would even schedule the date... Sucked too, as I found out about this payment required in full before scheduling about 1 1/2 weeks before we were going to schedule it for. I called my mom in tears, and very frustrated, and she got the money together for me, and I gave her nearly my entire tax refund 2 months later. Glad my surgery was in December.... that helped with the payback. Good Luck to you.... I know alot of doctors are requiring payment up front. Once the surgery is done, they can't take it back if they don't get paid, and since this is an elective surgery, they are gonna get paid... Hugs, Susan
