I didn't have Dr. Murr but I know he kicks ass at what he does. I would go with him!

Because of my insurance, I will have to go to Tampa or Ocala for RNY. My primary doc says Tampa is the better choice. I'd love to hear some glowing reviews of Dr. Murr before I make the final decision! Topic: RE: Tampa -- Dr. Murr
5 years ago Dr. Murr did my surgery... he is FANTASTIC... and the staff at TGH were great too... you will be in good hands... Good Luck on your surgery!

You must have EXCELLENT insurance, since they referred you to the BEST of the BEST. Dr. Murr performed my RNY 3 years ago, and I have nothing but excellent things to say about him and his staff. You will be in the best hands, of one of the most experienced surgeons in the area. Good Luck w/your upcoming surgery.

Have all of that stuff faxed to you as well. One, it will let you know that it was sent and two, you will have a copy of everything, so at the eleventh hour when someone says "we need such and such" you can say, "I have it right here!" If you do not have a fax machine there are free internet fax services. You are given a fax number and the person sending the fax just sends it the normal way. The fax comes to your email. You can then save it and print it!
I use trustfax but I pay about $30 a year for the service. It is well worth it to me. I have found it to be very easy to use and very reliable. Plus with trustfax I got a local fax number. You can do a google search for "free fax" as there are lots of programs out there now. In the past I used faxzero to send a fax and efax to receive, at the time both were free.

I would be interested in attending a support group meeting. Can you tell me where they are held and when? Is it surgery specific or all wls people grouped together?
Thank you!
Thank you!
