Staywell Medicaid Question

Does anyone know if seeing a nutritionist is a must for approval or if my supervised and guided nutrition and weight loss program through my PCP and bariatric surgeon is enough? 

Hi there. I know this is an older post but i have stay well insurance and i just finished my surpervised diet.  I was required to do a 6 month supervised diet with my pcp. I wasnt required to see a nutrtionist for those but i do have to take a nutrition class by my surgeons request. Hope this helps!
