What about the noises...

Hi, I am new on the website. I have been perusing thru for several weeks now. I have my surgery date of February 10th. Of course, I am nervous, anxious and very excited. Here is my question...is it true that your pouch makes quite a bit of noise? I've heard that it sounds like it is talking to you. I go to school and I would like a heads up. I appreciate your help.

It does at first. I am 11 months out and I seldom hear it anymore or feel it. You know how it is when you have a vrius and you hear the gurggles? It is similiar to that.

Mine gurgled and made some noises, but it wasnt horrible. What was worse was the gas I experienced from month 4-6, but even that has calmed down. Dont stress about it!

I'm gurgling right now!!! It's a little louder than a hungry type growl but not that annoying. It hasn't embarrassed me yet. To me, it's not that loud that it sounds like it's talking to me. I'm 4 months post-op today. I'lll take the noise..next to staying fat any day. I don't regret a thing!!! Good luck to you - and keep us posted on your progress!!

Mine lets me know when I am full, and has a few words to say here and there, but no one else hears it. It was "talking" to me the other day and I asked my sister if she heard it and she said "no".... Pouch-talk is the last thing you should be worried about. I am in school too, and it does not bother me or anyone else.
