White cell count still elevated

I haven't posted since I found out I had to cancel my surgery due to a high white cell count. Well unfortunately after 3 weeks of antibiotics nothing has changed. Now off I go to a Hematologist hopefully to figure this mystery out. I know I need to be healthy for surgery and it is all going to work out and all that jazz...but I'm still disappointed.

I am sorry it has not gotten better. I hope the new doc has some answers for you.

Kirsten, I am sure you are disappointed. I had to go thru a heart cath in the middle of my approval process so I know how upsetting it is to have to take a detour in your journey. Please have faith and keep us posted on how your appointment goes with the hematologist. Hang in there
