Finally approved!!

Hi everybody...I finally got approved!! I am so excited. I wanted to see if someone can tell me now how long it took them to recover? My doctor says I will be off from work for 10 days and can go back to work perfectly fine. I am having lap roux-en-y bypass surgery. Can anyone tell me how their recovery time in the hospital was and how long was it before they returned to work or school?? thanks.

Hey Cgfl, Congratulations on your approval!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you. I had surgery on 11/18 and i stayed off work for 2.5 weeks. When I did go back I didn't do much, but I really had to rest when I got home. I did get better after a few days. My recovery time in the hospital was great. I was in for 3 days and I had no pain at all. Don't worry you will be fine. I will be praying for you to have an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery!! Take care. Cathy 278/241/135

Congrats on your approval. I was in the hospital 2 nights, and went back to work after 3 weeks. If I did not stand as much at work as I do I would have went back after 2 weeks. Good Luck on your journey.
