I am 3 weeks post op and I am so sick of high protein blenerized cream soups, yougart, puddingand fruity puree and drinks. I am to the point now that I gag if I smell the soup. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was sick of it at that point too. I existed on low sugar peanut butter, easy cheese on wheat crakers, scrambled eggs, and cheese cubes. Hang in there, Erika L

Peanut butter was a life saver but also refried beans helped me. I was pretty put out with all the sweet food so I tried to stay with mushed up foods. Mashed potatoes and spice didn't bother me so I put plenty on it to help. Good luck It will get better. Just hang in there. Carol

Dear Kandy, Are you supposed to be on a full liquid diet for about 4 weeks? If so, no peanut butter or chili for you at this time. I am only 6 weeks out and I feel your pain! Have you tried really soupy grits or oatmeal? What about sf chocolate milk or cocoa? There is also sf puddings and all the different yogurts that are out there. I was making my own shakes from the powders, but I was having a horrible time with gas and dia. I changed to the canned kind and my body likes them much better. So far the Atkins and "ZOIC" cans are the best. God Bless, MaryKaye 245-210=35(only108to go...)
