Maybe you can look at WebMD.com or another medical site and see what it says about low sugar and a good diet to follow to avoid that. Did your doctor give you any suggestions on how to lose weight and avoid low sugar? Sorry you are confused.

Dear Shannon, I have been on every diet known to man, and the true secret is the more you eat, the more you will lose. You just have to eat the right things. Weigh****chers has the most sensible diet, beleive me. I lost 30, gained 50, lost 50 and gained 75 etc, etc, etc. If you are trying to lose wt and you are only taking in less than 1000 cals per day, you are forcing your body into starvation mode. It tries to compensate by holding on to each and every pound. Breakfast is your most important meal of the day. You should have at least a protein and some milk, plus a bread. Healthy snacking will help to keep your blood sugar on an even track. After writing all this, I must warn you. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is one of the early signs of diabetes. Your body may have what is called pre-diabetes. Once upon a time doctors would ignore this, but currently they are becoming more aggressive to decrease the damage that diabetes does to your body. There is a blood test that has you drink something and then a series of labs are drawn to check your blood chemistries and how your body reacts. If you continue to have low blood sugars even on a balanced diet. you should insist on more aggresive testing. Email me if you have more questions, or you can look all this up on WebMD. God Bless, MaryKaye [email protected]
