Nesting??
Did any of you go through a sort of "nesting" phase before your surgery? I've cleaned out my pantry, dry good cupboard and chest freezer AND I've begun trying to clean out kitchen drawers (2 down 8 to go). I plan to empty and clean my fridge & frezzer tomorrow and continue cleaning out the drawers. WHAT IS UP WITH THIS?? I am NOT Susie Homemaker by any stretch of the imagination - just ask my husband!! But I'm feeling this need to get things done NOW and I don't know why. Any ideas?

I think most of us do this on some level prior to surgery. For me, it was because I knew I would be hurting and taking it easy after surgery so I didnt want to have to deal with the stress or worry about the house after surgery. Some others do it so their families dont have to take over, some do it as stress relief. I wouldn't worry about the "why" so much and just revel in the fact that you'll come home to a very clean, organized house.
If you have time, I have a fridge that needs some attention
