So There I Was....

So there I was, doing my job as a hospital liaison. I was talking with a colleague at the nurses' station when he said hello to the people walking up in back of me who I couldn't see. "Hi, Dr. Jawad", he said. I'm thinking "uh oh!!!" because now I have to say hello and WANT to say hello, but don't want my friend to realize that Dr. Jawad is my doctor too!!! Remember, I didn't tell anyone I had WLS because I've chosen to keep that to myself. I turned and said hello and both he and Sheila said hi and kept walking. They are soooo cool!!! So when they were gone, the colleague said to me "you've lost weight again. Are you back on Weigh****chers?" It was a hoot!!!! By the way, I had some good news today. I got the results of my first blood test and everything looks PERFECT, including my blood sugar!!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Jan

Sounds like your doctor knows how to keep everything on the QT. I know you must have been ready to bust by the time he walked away. Sounds like fun to me Glad to hear the blood work was great. I have to take mine soon and I hope I do as well. Have a great weekend. Carol

Oh Jan that story is pricless....I know it was just "last night" I read on another post how you kept it quiet...exacly what I am planning other than those who must know. Since my time is creeping closer I have been reading whatever I can on all your posts and stuffing it all into my brain.
