Phoenix's Slammin' Turkey Sandwich
Ingredients:
* Cracked Black Pepper Lean Turkey Breast (I get mine sliced from the deli at Kash'n'Karry)
* Wheat Bread-2 slices (I use Nature's Own Whole Wheat)
* 1 tbsp Miracle Whip Light
* 1 tbsp Mustard
* Baby spinach leaves
* 3-4 thin apple slices (you can use any color apple--i prefer yellow)
* 1 slice of 2% cheese (I use Sargento's Preferred Light Mozarella, but again, it really is your preference)
Directions:
It's pretty simple, just like making any old sandwich...the apple slices give the turkey a real good kick and keep the sandwich fairly moist. I just spread the miracle whip on 1 slice of bread, and the mustard on the other...then proceed to layer the cheese, turkey, apples, and spinach leaves. It is a really tasty and "good for you" lunch!
