February Snorkeling in the Keys?
We use to go to John Pennikamp park...they have boats that leave right from the park for scuba, snorkeling and glass bottom boats. I went snorkeling there in 1990 and it was great. I was there in 2000 and it is still beautiful
They do have tent camping there. Also Bahia Honda state park is a nice park to stay at...I have tent camped there too in the mid 1990's. I have stayed at a few more campgrounds down there, but for the life of me I can't remember names, plus I prefer the State Parks.

I love the keys. There is a great web site with all sorts of information. I really enjoyed going to a place called Dolphins Plus, there you can swim with dolphins. And you might want to look into some the echo-snorkeling outfits. Many of them will put someone in the water with you who can identify what you are seeing and point things out to you.
