Pretesting here on Wednesday

I am all set for my pretest tomorrow morning. I took the day off as they tell me it may take a good part of the day. Again the only thing that concerns me is the blood gas test - ouch. Anyway I am excited because from here on in every Wednesday will be another step, the next Wednesday is my final surgeon appt and the following Wednesday is the big Day. Wow only 2 weeks from tomorrow! I hope I have everything I need. Elaine

Hey there Elaine, I just had my pretesting last Friday and they scheduled my preop and surgery for Jan5 and Jan19! I got lucky--no blood gas level was checked, they said they didn't need to check (don't know why), I go through the Wish Center so who knows? But, good luck and keep us posted!! -Phoenix

I finished up all of my pre-op testing today! I felt like I had donated blood they took 4 viles. Unless something shows up in my blood work I'm all set for 12/8! Three weeks! I don't know if they did a blood gas test on me, nothing today was painful so I'm not sure. My surgeon had mailed me a list of tests he needed completed and my doctor checked each one off as they were done.
