Candy free??
Flavia,
Hey there! I did not dump. I have never dumped on anything I have eaten so far. I actually had no ill reactions after I ate the first piece of candy, which is probably why I ate a few more pieces. I have never been much of a candy fanatic, so I don't think having the rest of the candy in the house will be a problem for me. I hope! Today, I have been a good girl!

I buy 2-3 bags of candy every week for the candy dish I have for my employees. I never take any, but I have tried the mini Hershey's and Reese's Carb Alternatives candy a few weeks ago and put them in my freezer and had a couple peices at night for dessert. I doubt I'll buy them again, at least not for a while. They tasted OK, but I really think I have my cravings under control cause I dont get any
.

I had a few m&m's...and even a bite or two of cake my daughter in law prepared. I've not been sick from sweets, but I haven't pushed myluck either. I was afraid as well...so I started a taste only of things, maybe a peppermint...or a bit of a piece of chocolate my husband was having. Fear Factor CAN be a good thing! I wasn't a "sweets" person from the beginning but on occasion we all crave a taste. I have this darlin' 23 yr. old diabetic friend. She found out within the last 6 months...went to the pump for her insulin and does great. She's my inspiration to stay away from sweets, except for an occasional tiny bit. If SHE can...I Can!
Im 3 months out as of yesterday. I waited probably 2 full months before I attempted sugars. Good luck to all!
