Extra Skin Removal???

Hello all... I have a friend who is done losing and wants to know what to do with her extra skin. I've heard that you can donate your arm and leg skin to the Shriner's Burn Centers. Has anyone else heard of this or done this? Thanks!!

Eric, we have discussed this with different hospitals and organizations. It's actually cheaper and better for them to grow skin than to transplant it. There are too many probelms with transplanting.

I have heard of donating skin for scientific purposes...like research but just out of the goodness of your heart. No one pays for plastic surgery in exchange for your skin, though.
