Vent vent vent! What else, right?!

I'm sorry if I am being self centered and do nothing but vent here, but I really need to, here it goes: It's always something with me, drama-drama-drama, I'll be sooo glad when halloween is over and the full moon is out of sight!! Yesterday I found out that due to the stupid hurricanes, no reputable auto body shop will take my car till at least mid December, so I have to drive a beat up car for another 1.5 months, then on my way to pick up my daughter, I got a speeding tkt (1st one in 4 years) for going 6 MILES over the speed limit, $80.00 out the window!!! That cop was such an a-hole! I was so mad I cried! This morning my daughter, bless her heart, picked up my brand new digital camera so I could take a pic of her in her costume (she was sooo beautiful!), but she droped my $300.00 camera on the tile floor, I saved for over 6 months to buy that camera... It's garbage now. So there will be no halloween pics this year. at 7:15 am, the dog ran away and I had to chase him like an idiot around the neighborhood for 20 minutes (not even my dog, it's my sister's). I didn't have time to properly walk him, so I'll probably find a gift on my carpet when I get home tonight... Got in th ecar and went for my 1 hr comute to downtown Orlando, traffic was cruel today! The president of the corporation is visiting the office, I was supposed to open the office and I was 20 minutes late! Great, right?! Guess if my boss is gonna be happy! Oh! and to top it all off, I gained another pound! God knows where it came from, cuz I have been sooo good! I need a hug so bad! I'm so glad I am gonna meet you guys tmrw! Can't do it tonight, I have the cheese & wine party to go to, remember? Go to the drugstore and pick up a disposable. It won't be the quality of the nice camera but in a pinch, you will get the photos. I know what you mean about the traffic ticket. I got one going to Jax for a preop appointment going 8 miles over. It was in a construction site and they had signs going from 35mph to 45mph, changing randomly. I missed one and he jumped on me. Favia: For such a bad time..you will not remember it all in a few years. Just a little kink in the road, we all have them and thank goodness we have friends we can vent with. Remember, how cute your daughter will look or does look in that costume and get the disposable camera. Most developing places will provide a cd of the pictures for about $4. I did that a few months ago when I went on a float down the river and did not want to get my camera wet. I got some really good pictures that way. Sugesstion: Put a sign where your car is dented that says "ouch". Make it fun. You could also put that "Due to Hurricane seassion, the Collision experts are busy". Hope your day gets better and brighter.

Thx, Martha, those bumper stickers are just too funny... I have not seen them yet, but will look for them. My sis just called from CO to check on the dog and I told her all about it and then she told me to wait and she would call a client of hers who is a manager at a dealership body shop... hopefully it will all work out! Isn't life funny? My twin is out skiing and I am stuck in hell!!?? Gotta laugh so I don't cry (anymore)!! -Flávia
