Anyone else experience pain in the lower left abdomen area?

Hi Karl! I had my surgery on Oct.12 and had those pains for about 5 days...same exact spot. At times they got unbearable, bringing me to my knees, screaming in pain, tears running...i was horrible. I finally called my surgeon who was concerned b/c he said that didn't sound like anything related to what he did...go to the ER, so I did...a full run of blood work and a CT scan later, they found nothing. Mine went away in about 5 days. At first I thought gas and got some chewable Gas-X and it did not help....my prescription pain meds did not help either. No good advice but ride it out. I'm really sorry but hope you take care. Other than that, how are you doing???? Danielle

Thanks Danielle: How are you doing? The pain is very severe at times. I have been on my knees crying like a stupid baby from the pain. Then it goes away. I thought it was gas. I was chewing Gas-x like candy. Thanks for your response. I hope it goes away soon.

I had this twice a while after surgery, it didnt bring me to my knees though. I think Lori is right, it's nerve related post-surgery pain.
