Diamonds go with anything! Pearls can go with anything I suppose, but I think of pearls as being a formal piece. Diamonds are casual or formal.

Hi! I'm Dixie. I'm new at this, so please bear with me. I just got word 3 or 4 days ago that BCBS approved my surgery. My surgery date is December 7. My doctor is Dr. Keith Kim at Celebration Health in Orlando. I am sooooooooo excited and happy about it. Now, to the question--I love diamonds. I don't wear my diamonds because my fingers are too large and I didn't want to re-size my rings. I like to own them, but just don't wear them right now. BUT, I just love the feel of pearls. I like the way they feel and look. They remind me of my dad who bought me my only string of pearls about 25 to 30 years ago. It's a good memory. Daddy passed aways January 7 and I miss him very much. Dixie- 1) Welcome to the board! So glad to see you post 2) Congrats on your approval and upcoming surgery! I am sure you will be happy with Dr. Kim, he didn't do my surgery but I have heard great things about him. 3) Trust me, you'll be wearing those diamonds again soon enough after WLS!
