The BAY AREA WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY SUPPORT GROUP is a peer-to-peer group which is open to individuals who have undergone various types of weight loss surgery, or to those who are anticipating or planning this kind of lifestyle change.
Our group members have had their surgeries performed by various WLS surgeons and hospitals, and we are not affiliated with any specific WLS surgeon or hospital.
Pre-Registration is Not Required, but notification of your attendance would be helpful for planning purposes. If you require any further information, feel free to contact us at [email protected]
NOTE: Copies are available of "Cooking After Gastric By-Pass Surgery; A 2nd Helping"~~ $10
Topic: Tips for tackling the upcoming Holidays Season!
Additionally, this will also be our Holiday party. Please plan on bringing a WLS-friendly food or drink to share. No need to bring a large amount since we can all only have a ‘taste.’ It would also be helpful if you could provide the recipe to share with the group. Supportive family members and friends are also welcome. Children are also welcome. It is often helpful for our home support system to hear other’s experiences in this journey.
