Thanks so much, so many of the folks from the West coast of the state came inland to the Orlando area and now it looks like we may get a direct hit. This is not going to be pretty Amy (Orlando burbs)

Well it is 2:30 pm. The storm has turned and i****ting Sanibel head on. We live in Estero, which is the south side of FT. Myers and they said we will see wind s over 140+ mph. Every one be safe.

We toook our vacation in Sanibel - Captiva this year. Hope the Bubble Room was spared! l know all the residents were evacuated. LuvitsunnyV

Not sure how The Bubble Room Fared. It was always such a neat rickety old building. Sanibel had some damage but according to the phots it could have been a lot worse. Captiva was worse and Upper Captiva has now been cut in half. There is a new channel seperating the island about 400 yards wide.
