Hi Marla,
We are soooo glad that you are home and on the mend. Sorry to hear about your bowel problems. I think you should try to contact your dr.s office and see what they advise you to do. Don't wait, especially since it looks like you west coast folks might to dealing with Charley the not tuna. If you wait, you run the risk of becoming dehydrated and your dr.s office might close down due to the storm. Going back to the hospital is a rotten alternative.
In the mean time, I am sending you healing prayers and asking God to relieve your problem.
God Bless
Deanna

Hi Sweetie...so gald you are home and on the loosing side. I saw Susan and Lori today and one thing Susan said was it was very common to have the runs after the surgery for some time.
Don't feel bad, happened twice to me this week whenI was preparing for my EGD and colonoscopy I had on Monday. I took Advanced Imodium. Also have a prescription for Lomotil, same thing. I also have them on hand all the time wit IBS. They really work but with surgery I am not sure what you can and can't take.
Welcome home!!!!
PS, they both are cute as buttons...especially that little evershrinking butt, Lori. LOL

Marla,
So glad you are home, we missed you around here but are so happy you are on the losing side now. I do agree with the others that you should call the doctor and get his advice. I dont know what your specific eating program is but I found out very early after surgery that my tummy reacted adversely to milk products and splenda too. It took me a while to figure that out, but once I did, I tweaked my food/beverage choices and didn't have those problems any more. Good luck
Amy

Marla,
Hey Sweetie!! I am so glad they finally let you go home!! In the hospital after I drank the warm tea I started having bowel movements which were all liquid. After the fourth one, Belinda my nurse, called the doctor who said that it was perfectly normal. And they haven't stopped. Just slowed down some.
Are you having stomach pain with them the BMs??
