What are you doing??

Good morning Florida. What excitement do you have planned today? Me being the good grandma that I am had all 3 grandchildren last night. All went well except they've been up since 6. One will be 3 in October, One 2 in December, one 2 in february. I know how fast they grow up, so I don't care if a tornados been threw my house and it will take me all week to find all the cheerios. My 3 daghters are good mothers and I know they need a break once and awhile. Every one have a good Sunday, August 1st, and remember Christmas will be here before we know it. ha, ha. tina

Good morning Tina, as for me, I'm just trying to keep occupied so I won't go nuts waiting for the 11th! Maybe I should go get my four year old grandson. He would surely keep me hoppin'! Have fun with your babies today. Joy

Tina, I doubt my day can compete with three toddlers. But here's what I have done so far: I got up at 630am (eeeek, on a Sunday????) and met my parents for breakfast at 730am at a lil hole in the wall diner, Pauly's. It was awesome cause they know my parents (they're regulars) so we got the special treatment, the waitress was hysterical, dishing it out to my Dad. I love smart asses I had eggs benedict minus the english muffin and ate about a third of it, but it was yummy and it stayed down! Then I went to Target about 830am to beat the rush because it's the last day of free tax. I didn't find anything for me, but managed to spend $30 on stuff for other people...I am such a victim of marketing and a low price tag LOL. Then I went to my parent's house to pick up something my father was fixing for my sister (he needed me to be the delivery service), then I went to Dollar General to buy a few things for work (they have the best prices on paper products), then to Home Depot for an orchid for my sister's b-day and found two I liked for myself (woo hoo, they look fabulous in my kitchen window), then I filled my tank with gas (dont forget gas is tax free all month long in Aug), next I went to my sister's house to drop off her b-day orchid and a few other things. She wasnt home and her husband was mowing the lawn so I played with the cat a while and got a drink. Sheesh, I just got home, I've been running around all morning. I bet I put 60 miles on my car this morning driving all over my side of town. I'm beat and ready for a nap, but I really should pull weeds and vacuum out my car. Nope, on second thought, I think a nap is gonna win out Thanks for indulging me with a play by play of my morning Have a great day with your lil munchkins!

Its been raining over here in west pasco county all day, we were supposed to go swimming at the MIL house,, but I find myself today going through all my kids clothes to see what still fits, what can be passed down to my younger son,, and cleaning out their closet,, I cant believe how much gabage came out of their room,, I filled a large black trash bag and a small 13 gallon bag with junk and papers,,, how can a 12 and 8 yr old boys get soo much junk,,, I just dont get it,, I understand a little garbage and some clothes but bags of garbage,,,, they always wonder why all their clothes arent clean, its is because I am afraid to go into their room and get their laundry,,, geeezzz what slobs,,, I wish I could be a little more of a "stricter" mom, but I am a softie. Yesterday we went school shopping ALL day,, yes all day,,, what fun,, my hubby gets soo impatient, I hate when he goes with us shopping, he is a pain in the ass,, well anyway we did good on the sales, plus it was the last no sales tax day,, Did I mention I cant wait until school sartes? Well, I cant wait,, you see I work at home, so I am home 24/7 with the boys and my neighbors boys always mooch off of us during the day,,, well enough of my day,, maybe next weekend I can go swimming and get some sun,,, chow and have a good week,,, dont forget to watch 6 feet under tonight if you have HBO,,,, chow,,, Christy

Well today I did just about what I do every day since I moved to Florida two years ago. I read, I played on the computer, wrote emails, surfed all the forums I belong to, made puree pineapple and froze it in cubes for protein drinks, watched moves, took a nap, played with the cats, currently waiting for husband to get home from work. Exciting isnt it? We have no family or friends here, so we are self-entertaining =) Its kind of lonely sometimes, but there are worse things. Michele minus 18 lbs
