favor please!

Can anyone who lives in florida and has a Doctor (pcp) in brandon, seffner, tampa...near those areas, can you please send me the name and number. i can't seem to find a wls friendly pcp. mine said k but wont sign a letter for insurance cuz he dont wanna be liable if somehting happens to me. he sux! but anyways thanks to all ahead of time ho respond..

HMMMMM, interesting. Sorry your PCP is being so difficult. Would he sign off on the letter if you wrote one to him letting him know you are aware of the risks and possible complications after surgery? Many surgeons require a letter so your PCP might consider this. If I were you, I would be proactive and write up the letter then schedule another appt with the PCP, give them the letter and plead your case one more time. Good luck!

Try Dr Fred Bearson I do not have his number. There is also one in Riverview who is Pro WLS. Maybe Dr Stephen Parks group. His is called Apollo Health Care. They do have an office in Brandon. Good Luck.

Jennifer, I had the same problem. My doctor gave me the name and phone number of the WLS doctor in Tampa then would not write me a letter for same reason that your doctor gave! ...I think these doc's are getting to gun shy!
