Question of the Day

What is the one modern-day convenience you could NOT live without????? For me, it would be air-conditioning! I love cold air, still not sure why I still live in Florida. I am so happy in the Fall and Winter down here, but I even love winters up north. I go to Maryland for Thanksgiving every year and hate leaving. I may even be going to Quebec for Christmas this year, depends on how much weight I lose by then and whether I will treat myself or not. What can't you live without?????????

I would have to say Electrcity itself would be hard to live without Amy. If not for that we could not have A/C {which I could not live with out to....I sleep so well when it is cold}, Washers or dryers for that matter. Thank you Benjamin Franklin for flying your kite!! LOL Becky

I guess it depends on what you consider "modern day". I was thinking electricity, but since you said A/C, then I'll say my computer. I never looked back after I got my first one years ago! Pre-Op Jan

I believe the computer has become something I don't and wouldn't live without. It gives me the opportunity to meet others and to learn things that I would not have had the chance to learn with out it. It is my voice to the world.

My 2 cents, a/c and computers. but we should also remember why we are on this board, WLS. Is it not a modern invention? Marla Silence is never misquoted!
