Question of the Day

I collect vintage kitchenware (mostly 40's, some 50's). I love that era and have found lots of neat things on ebay and in antique/junk stores. I have numerous dishes, drinkware, serving peices and lots of tablecloths. I am also a huge fan of Curious George. I have a lot of CG items, most of which have been given as gifts. Do you collect anything?????? If so, please share with the group what you collect. Amy

Strange enough I collect Turtles and Cermaic Dolls. DOnt ask my why? I dont even know, but they are all sooo cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hi Amy, I collect Roseville pottery. Also plates of Indian children and chiefs by Perrillo. A few other things, odd items for garden art, some of which I make from found junk. I have several pieces of furniture, an old dresser made in 1840 and a couple of captain type chairs, one a rocker and the other a side chair. Had much more but have passed it on to my children. My house is way too small for furniture I collected. Anyone out there interested in Roseville, we can deal, I am selling..... Marla

I collect bells. I have silver bells, jingle bells, hotel bells, cheap bells, Italian bells, pewter bells, commemorative bells, wooden bells, antique bells, Fenton bells.....well, you get the idea. Pre-Op Jan

I have a thing for kitchen stuff too! Anything "cute" just like you're saying--- love dishes of all ages and types and would like to eventually start collecting the original Rose Chintz from Johnson Bros-- pricey even on ebay.....

I collect Fiesta ware Dishes. I have a retired Lavender place setting that I bought for $25 AND NOW WORTH $350.00.Also have some several other that are retired. But not worth as much yet. I also collect Boyd Bears.They are so cute! gail

Oh Boy! I love collecting things! I have collected Barbies for years and at one point had over 200. Decided one day, since I could not display them, I would sell most and just keep the ones I liked the most! What a hard decision! I have narrowed down that I would like to collect the ones that I played with growing up, called the "Mod Era". Barbie, Francie, Julia the TNT;s, Color Magic. Ther eis one piece I am looking for in very good condition and that I sth Barbie country camper with the orange fold out tent from the 70's. (Thought I would mention it here...you never know!) so, if anyone sees this and has anything from that time era they want to sell, please let me know! I also have always had a penchant for anything odd.....conversation pieces I call them. Small strange sculptures, voo doo dolls, and the likes.....

Hmmmm let's see.. I collect Precious Moments figurines. Something my dad started for me when I was 15. I love post cards. Everywhere I go I have to get postcards. My best friend is Scottish and in the Royal Air Force, so she's constantly sending me new post cards!! And my mom says I am a picture-a-holic. I love having pictures of family, friends, places, and everything under the sun!! Karee

Evening all I collect salt and pepper shakers. Anything unusually or old I have several pair and enjoy collecting them. Linda R
