Major Belly Ache
OK, so about a week ago, I figured out that the reason I havent been feeling good was because I am now lactose intolerant. So I have switched to Soy milk in my protein shakes and felt so much better.
What was I thinking last night when I decided to try one of the new Ben and Jerry's NSA ice creams? What can I say, I am a victim of marketing... I thought I would treat myself to a few spoonfuls before bed to kill my craving for sweets and this morning I woke up with a horrible belly ache, gas and more (use your imagination).
Anyway, I think it is amazing how my pouch is in control of my food choices now versus my appetite prior to surgery. Now the thought of that ice cream just makes me nauseous. Anyway, lesson learned and I think I'll stick to my SF juice bars from now on.
Isn't amazing how our tummies now control our eating habits??? I think I may have eaten too fast yesterday (only two bites... but none the less too fast) ... i had to throw it up. Amazing! So, I have to remember to eat... and when I do forget and then go eat... I have to take my time. Yesterday we ate breakfast around 9 am .. and then didn't eat again until 5:00 that evening. We just forgot to eat. So, it was crazy when I did eat.
Anyway!
I will talk to you later and I hope you begin to feel better!
Take care of yourself,
Lisa
Sorry you aren't feeling well today. Hope it gets better during the day. Since I haven't had the surgery, I don't know how it feels but this is the part I feel I may have trouble with. I tend to eat too fast and not chew enough. I have been practicing chewing slowly and not eating more than I need but I just hope I don't cause myself too much discomfort but. Right now, having my little pouch stop me sounds great. I just want to feel better. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON.
