Hello, My name is Reba and I'm having a problem getting my surgery done. Even though I have a letter from my family doctor, two back specialist,One that I have been seeing for ten years or more and the other one he had come from Tallassee,to see me for a second optin, my pain mangement doctor that I see for over two years.Even papers from the doctors I seen in Tenn. and still they want six months weight with a diet doctor. In January my insurance is going to quit paying for the surgery. If anyone has any answers for me please let me know. Signed Heart Broken........

Reba, Is it too late to start a supervised diet with your family doctor? Many of the insurance companies say they wont cover WLS, but if you can prove it medically necessary they will cover it. Many on here have faced the same issue and won. Don't give up
