Bad News/Good News!?!

Well, gee Erika, that was sort of a letdown wasn't it? I think you should celebrate and be glad because if it weren't for this surgery you wouldn't even know about the growth on your thyroid. But that being said, I'm sure it will just be another goiter and you will be fine and dandy and on the losing side soon!! Big congratulations! Pre-Op Jan

Sweet Erika, I am so happy for you that you have the approval and that part is good to go. That part alone was a big step for you, so congratulations. Now have "Faith" about the other and know all is going to be ok.The test results will be nothing. Faith can make anything happen!! Many prayers will be sent your way. I am very happy for your approval. Sorry about the Thyroid. I had the same scare and it turned out to be a Goiter. That can be treated with medicine. I'll place you on my list of prays for healings. Good Luck. IMP gail

Erika, CELEBRATE and Keep Your Eye on the Prize! I had a similar situation when I had to have a heart cath because I failed my stress test so the WLS process was put on hold. During the heart cath, we found out it was a false positive and everything moved forward but then I knew I had a healthy heart too. I am sure you will be just fine and this is just a slight detour. yeah Your approved!! Celebrate!! Don't worry too much about your biopsy, I bet it'll be fine! I stressed myself out, prayed, even cried on the way to get my biopsy results from doctor. And eveything was fine! Don't do this to yourself, it's not worth it. You'll be fine, your too nice of a person.

hi erica, sweetie you have a lot of people standing behind you and praying for you.hang in there you know when your on a mountan top and so happy you think nothing could ruin it for you. then something like this happens satan likes to put stumbling blocks in our way to bring us down, but lift up your head and think the best it's just another goiter. your in my heart and prayers and with all our prayers you knw god is listning. god bless you brenda

First let me say, great news on one hand and not so bad on the other...thyriod growth might just be that, think positive and be glad they found it. Might set you back a few days or weeks but you're on your way Ericka.
