My sleep study!

Lastnight I arrived at the sleep clinic around 9:40p.m. I was nervous and had a sickening feeling in my stomach all the way there. Needless to say I was thinking hell if I am this nervous about a sleep study they better knock me out when it's time for the surgery. Anyhow, the place was nice. It was set up like my bedroom, well maybe without all the clothes on the floor. So I guess it was a little cleaner then my bedroom...........OK Alot cleaner then my bedroom. They let me pick out a DVD to watch and hooked me up. I had leads in my hair, 2 on my chest, my face and behind my ears. It took me a while to fall asleep, but all and all it was a good experience. I should have the results in 4days and will post them! Thanx everyone, Michelle

no worries, if you start freaking out at the hospital, they will give you meds in your iv...thats what they did to me! lol needless to say i was calm and asleep soon. Lynn

I'm still kind of wondering if anyone will suggest a sleep study for me, but so far, no one has mentioned anything about it. I wouldn't be nervous about it, but that's only because I sort of know what to expect. It's very normal to be concerned over the unknown!!! Glad you did well!! Pre-Op Jan

ohh DANG... i feel bad for you.. they sent me home with a pulse ox... lol
