Whoa! I am glad I got in to see them when I did!!! I can't believe they increased it by $200! I was fortunate that Dr. Koche was covered on my insurance so all I paid was $410. (which is still a lot)

My insurance also covered Dr Koche at 80%, however the others were at 70%, so I did not have to pay the full amount. Marla

hiya Marla, wow glad I had my evals. this past wed. while it was still the $700 , I practically had to sell my kids to get that amount......would have had to sell the farm too to raise another 200 bucks....I am submiting the papers they gave me to see if I can recoup some of the $700, but I doubt it...when the time comes is it now Susan that we contact at Dr. Murr's. That is totally out of control. I thought the $700 was outrageous considering they barely touch you. Mostly talk. I am glad I already went. Gail

Well with the 200 you get two follow ups with diet person. Is a bit high and then some. Marla

Marla, I was at the orientation as well and the support meeting. My sister has humana gold plus classic and wants to go to Dr Murr. We were shocked by the 200.00 increase its hard enough to come up with the 700.00 never mind 900.00 now. But she is going ahead with it her problem now is finding a PCP under her plan that is WLS friendly. He PCP is giving her a hard time after giving her the referal to spectra he will not give her a letter of medical nessecity or even a letter saying he knows she is persuing this and supports her doing so. Linda, I just thought of something. There is a doctor at the Medical Clinic in Zephyrhills that referred me once. Is really a NP and I believe she is in Dr Hardly or Hardy, something like that, in Zephyrhills. Guess it is called Medical Clinic, is where all the doctors are. Is a large area with buildings in kind of a U shape south of the hospital on 301. If I can locate the phone # and name I will email you. Marla

Marla, I was at meeting last night was impressed, I am needing to change surgeons because of problem at hospital in Ft.Myers.
