Stomach pain

I am 4 years out and have gottn bad stomach pain to where I double over , it feels like a knot in my stomach, I went to er they gave me some dye and did a scan to check for a leak. The ER doc said it was just a stomach flu...hmmm but i had no throwing up or the D word? I think that was thier way of saying I don't know. It has happened once or twice a year in the last 2 years. My mom thinks is gas , it has happened when I have eaten but have been in a hurry and upset. It has happened if I was late eating. So part of me thinks it may be gas, But bending over can't straighten out pain form Gas? The first time I got that I remember, it felt the same about 4 years ago,  I went to my surguery hospital and was told it was my intistine balling up. Heck, don't know what it is but it is annoying that I can't figure it out it scares me, i am going to my PCP next week to get a refferal to see Dr. KIm to ask him for his opinon. Has anyone experinced something similar. I can tell you when the pain is gone my stomach still feels sore for a few days. It is almost like a charlie horse in your leg than when the severe pain goes away the dull pain lingers. Anyway any one with same experince chime in I feel fustrated.

You definitely need to go see a bariatric specialist, I hope you find out what's going on soon, no one should have to live with the pain and not knowing what's going on.

Thank you so much for replying , I am going to my PCP next week to get a refferal to go to dr kim , I think I will just call in advance and see if she can give me a refferal.

Have all of your tests and x-rays sent to Dr. Kim -- if it is an internal hernia or blockage it could be life threatening.

I am going to do exactly that thanks for the idea. I appreciate you responding. Everyone is telling me it is just gas, but wow I never knew gas was that bad? I am going to rule everything out before settling on the gas theory :)

This may be very serious. Don't wait a week. Go to your Primary Doctor's office right away and get the referral in hand or stay there till it's faxed to Dr.Kim's office. Did you change insurance plans? As since dr.Kim did you surgery. You should contact them right now too. DON'T WAIT - GO NOW.

This could be anything from a gallbladder attack to a hernia to who knows what?
