Nervous.....

Hi!

I am soOooo nervous. I have my first pre-op appointment with Dr. Jorge Sosa on Thursday and have no idea what to expect. I will be self-pay and wanted to speak to him first about the price and payment options etc. At his seminar he asked me to make an appointment and we would talk. I am freaking out I have no idea what to expect. I am super excited and pray that I could proceed and have surgery done. So far, I think I will be going the RNY route however, I am not sure yet. Regardless, encouragement and advice is welcomed.

Its normal to be nervous.  Do your research and make sure that whatever WLS option you choose is the best fit for you and your lifestyle. Congrats on getting started on yoru journey!

If you are self-pay, RNY could be a very good choice for you. I would stay AWAY from the lap band. Too many people have problems with that option. Some doctors have stopped doing them.
