Thanks so much for responding and congratulations on such a success! I am curious, did you have a lot of health issues before having WLS and how are they now? You can email me direct if you would like at [email protected]. Thanks!

Kathy, I had surgery in August of 2001. It will be 3 years this August. I initially was 267 lbs and went down to 172. However, since I started Premarin last year I have gained some weight. I have also noticed that I can eat more. I still get nausea at times, usually related to eating too fast or too much. Yesterday I weighed 198 lbs according to the freight scale at Publix. Today I am starting weigh****chers. Even after 3 years old bad eating habits can return. I felt too thin and weak at 172 and really felt great at about 180-184. Would like to be there again so I am getting control now. 18 lbs ia a lot less daunting than 100 lbs. This surgery definitely isn't a permanent fix, but I am not sorry I did it. Take care! Gale
