Who was the lawyer and did you have a good experience? How was the response of the office to return calls? Was the time limit acceptable? Did they provide what they promised and follow through on everything? A little about why: I am looking into a lawyer to write up a letter to go with my first attempt at submitting my request for insurance coverage. I am conflicted and that is why I want to know about other peoples experience. Thank you for your responses.

if i were you... i would summit by your self first... and see if you get approved... and if you do... no need for the lawyer... save yourself the money

Thanks for the advice Alexa, but unfortunately my insurance has been turning people down left and right. I just don't want to delay it when I know it would help if they were aware that I will go the full distance. Thank you for your input I appreciate it and your time in responding.

I found this group. Dont know a thing about them, except, he has had WLS. His wife is also a lawyer in same firm. She was the one , I think, to get him into helping WLS folks with their insurance. I don't think he will handle, Medicaid as it is different in each state. Perhaps check out him out. What a shame you feel you are against a brickwall without even starting the approval process yet. I think there is an attorney who specializes in getting difficult approvals. I believe he had WLS too. I suggest you post on the Main message board (if you haven't already) and see if someone there can give you the name. Good luck
