Hi to everyone here. I have been reading your messages of encouragement to one another. I am just beginning my journey and trying to gather information about my insurance coverage. The problem is that I keep getting different information each time I call. I am confused about the "supervised diet" as in the policy they say six months, when I spoke to the people in precertification they say one year. Anyone else encounter this problem with Aetna HMO? Thanks

Hi Donna! I have Aetna HMO also and I was 26 weeks of supervised weight loss. So I did weigh****chers and went to my PCP for six months of weight ins. I also verified and printed the requirements from aetna.com. I am still waiting to find out Aetna's decision.
