panties problem!!!!!

this question has popped up in my head for all my post-op ladies... can we wear panties while in the hospital?

Hi There! Good question - I could wear them after they took the catheter out, but frankly, I didn't. It was easier to go pee without bending over to pull up and down my panties. Remember - they are still giving you IV fluids and you will go A LOT! Besides - scooting in and out of bed is no picnic either. Take them, but you might not use them. Good luck! I put them on so my pad had something to stick to. Once they took the catheter out and I had to go to the bathroom on my own, I washed myself and put them on. I would rather deal with panties than blood all over the place. I wasn't comfortable with that!

I did not bother. i did not have a cathetor or my cycle.
