overeaters anonymous....

i have a question...someone recently has brought up OA-overeaters anonymous meetings. do you think going to them reguraly will help to go with paperwork with the dieting things? what i hate is i have no dietng history with my doc. i did it when i decided to and never mentioned it to him! i go see him tomorrow at 1:45 p.m. i will let everyone know whether he says ok he will work with me for the WLS or not!!!! wish me luck! i will need it! i am so nervous and dont know what to say to him!

I'm sure it couldn't hurt. I know the psychiatrist they made me go to as part of this program looked at my diet history to see if I've tried every available program first. Good luck! Kathy~
