Support Meeting In Jax

Hello All. Was just cruisin around trying to get caught up on reading the newer posts. I was really excited to see the Support meeting post. Yelled for my Hubby to come in here and told him he was going with me He agreed ( of Course ! ) He has been the most supportive one. Can anyone tell me what to expect ? I read it and all ~ I just wanted some more insight.. I also figured that this would be a good weapon to tell and use against my PCP at my Mondays appt. Maybe this will get her attention and show her how serious I am. Well I must turn it. Long night ..snore .. Didn't seem like class would ever end...Good Night and sweet dreams ! Deepest Regards ! Hi Sabrina, At the support group I attend we start out by going around the room with introductions listing your surgeon, type of surgery, date, weight loss. You can then ask any questions you have regarding a certain issue. There are people who have yet to have the surgery there as well. We exchange clothes, sometimes we exchage protein powders or have guest speakers. I really enjoy my support meetings, helps keep me on track. Jacque
