Need advice....2 days w/out a BM

I'm 11 days post op and the last 2 days no BM. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen. Should I worry? Should I call the Dr? Of course it's Friday and I hate to call the doc over the weekend. Anyone have any words of wisdom? Thanks in advance

Hi Carol! I'm 17 days out a/o midnight tonight. Before wls I used to have daily BM's like clock work. Post-op, I had my 1st BM @ 5 days post-op and since then approx every 2 days. Remember to drink lots of fluid, walk a lot and if you're still on pain meds that tends to slow down peristalsis - food passing thru your bowels. Are you having pain from no BM's? Perhaps you should call your Doc just to be on the safe side. Earitha

I'm golden! Had one at 6am this morning. What a big baby I am....lol Had no pain from it, just got concerned for a moment. I haven't been taking my pain meds, I just haven't needed them, I'm feeling great! Dr. Jawad is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!
