It seems like everyone in Orlando area uses Dr. Kim but he seems to not be covered under my health insurance plan. I have United Healthcare anyone know anything????

find a hosptial that is a center of excellence...... then u find ur surgeon.

I just noticed that you have VGB listed for surgery type. Is that correct? Will you be having a revision?

I have United Healthcare, and they covered my RNY with Dr Kim.

However, they would not cover surgeries other than Lap-band or RNY, so perhaps it's not the surgeon but the type of surgery.
