Is 110 CM to long to bypass?

Is 110 CM to long to bypass? My doctor is recommending this amount for my weight. I trust him a lot, however it worries me that most of the long term studies are about 70 CM bypass.

From what my surgeon tells me, that is not too long. He does most of his around 100 cm and he measures them with a tape measure. He teaches the procedure around the country and stated to us in a support meeting, that some docs don't measure. They guess-timate. Isn't that scary. Good luck on your surgery.
