psych eval ???

i have healthease and they recquire you see a psychiatrist for the eval, but my surgeon(dr. rehnke) recquires me seeing a psychologist. has anyone else had to see both? i'm having to pay for the psychologist eval myself.

Have you spoken with your surgeon and explained the situation. Maybe he will allow the one the insurance will pay.

Tammy, I have Florida Health Care and I have to see Dr. Wendy Welch for part of the evaluation, but when I started the Healthy Lifestyles Program, I had to see a psychologist... go figure. Luckily FHC paid for them both. Kathy~
