I think I need a lawyer!

I had my surgery in October. PreCerted and everything. Now my insurance Blue Cross will not pay the surgeon or other doctors. Funny they paid the hospital though. I have fought with them till I'm blue in the face. I don't want to get a lawyer but, don't know what else to do. any suggestions?

Hi, Is Dr. Jawad a provider for BC/BS patients? He has to have an official contract with BC/BS or he would be OUT OF NETWORK. That's what's happening to me, they will cover hospital, but not my surgeon. Contact Jawad's office and check this out. If he is a provider, they have to pay. If they refuse, get an attorney . good luck. margaret

I had surgery with Dr. Jawad in 10/20/03. BCBS had no problems paying. What BCBS say the problem was, "why" won't they pay.
